Another Great Weekend!

How is it that weekends seem to FLY by?!? I can't get enough time at home so I try my hardest to make the most of the time that I do have. That is probably why weekends seem to grow more and more packed as the weeks go by.

This weekend was really great! I got some much needed quality time with Wes and Addie, got a lot of cleaning and organizing done (I'll blog about that later), and still managed to have a little fun!

Saturday we went to see Bailey compete in the Little Miss Sipsey Valley pageant. It was her very first pageant, and she won the prize for 2nd runner up!

Congratulations Boo!! You looked beautiful!! And we are so proud of you. :)

I want to win!

As the Forest{e} Grows is one of my favorite blogs to follow! I discovered Mrs. Foreste's blog when I was trying to get pregnant, and she was just pregnant with her beautiful baby Gianna. Well, GiGi has grown into a walking, talking toddler right before my eyes!

Today on her blog she is featuring a giveaway for hair accessories from Little Love's Designs. The headbands are totally unique and adorable. Addie needs one...don't you think?

Well, keep your fingers crossed! Or you could always try to win one yourself. I think some of them would even look adorable on adults.

And, since a blog post is never complete without a picture, he is a newer picture of my precious baby girl! Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks?!?

An Unexpected Long Weekend

Well, the blizzard of 2011 came and went, and all it left behind at my house was ice. But, it is much appreciated because it caused the roads to be too bad to travel to work...sooo, I am enjoying my surprise Monday off!

We have had a fabulous weekend. It was uneventful for the most part, hence the "fabulous" part. I have been in desparate need of a little down time.

On Saturday, we got to celebrate because Addie turned 3 MONTHS OLD! It is so hard to believe three months have gone by since she was born. She is getting so big so fast! Here she is...looking like a big girl. :)

And here are a few from our "snow day". Addie got to try out her bumbo for a while. She is getting so strong!

She was trying so hard to make her hand pick up her rattle. If only she knew how to work those things!

And I just can't resist her little feet. It is hilarious to me that she curls her toes so tight when she is concentrating.

Oh, and by the way, BabyLegs are the best invention known to parents. They make diaper changes a piece of cake, and they are sooo adorable!

Making Memories

Sometimes, when I look back at the year that has just ended, I feel like I can't tell you what I did with my time. Not that I just can't tell you, but that I feel like I didn't actually DO anything. I truly believe that I let a lot of my precious time go wasted rather than using it as if it would be my last moment.

That being said, I have big dreams for 2011. There are so many things I want to do with my time. I want to make memories!

So, to keep myself on track, here is a list of things (in no particular order) that I would like to do before the end of this year. I hope that I can add more, but this is a start!
